Here I drop the word alchemy, which has been somewhat of a primary mechanism of getting me to the place of understanding where I currently stand.
I think my intent here was to educate the audience on why I am talking about these themes - which is the vision for a future which requires collaboration.
I make a nod to Charles Eisenstein’s Story of Separation and link it back to the concept of narrative, and invite the audience to join me in re-writing the narrative lest we continue the current story (which I suspect many of us are tired of).
Here I also make suggestions towards Vanessa Machado de Oliveira’s work, Hospicing Modernity, from where I believe the inner work I am speaking about is calling us to bridge towards.

And whether you’re new to hearing from me or not, you’re probably wondering why I’m on this thread on talking about creativity.
Well, this is me alchemizing my experiences and where I’ve gone wrong and the things that have held me back from doing the things that I love and sharing that wisdom with others in order to both educate as well as learn. I want to be challenged on where I stand. I want to support others on their own paths because I believe in building alternative futures and I believe that doing that requires collaboration.
I believe that the narrative that we are separate beings on a hostile planet that need to compete with one another to survive is one that is driving our planet to catastrophe.
And rather than rebel against that, I believe that if we take the care to care for ourselves and care for one another, we provide the system with enough hospicing such that it can pass on and we can allow for the seed of what’s being born in its place.
This video series has been hopefully the first of many in which I explore some of these ideas and engage in dialogue with the broader community. Stay tuned for more.
